VICTORY!
Well, good news, my friends. I get to keep my job! There was some talk about my having to attend a new school for up to a year before I could obtain a new work permit, but it appears that my work permit can be renewed without having to do all that! The news came on the very day of Zero Five One Nine Zero Five while I was sitting at lunch with two co-workers, Connie Baker and Theresa Miller. It was a good day that day. Little, if any, doubt in my mind about my situation becoming better. Yesterday, one day after Zero Five One Nine Zero Five, I sat in my international student advisor’s office and worked out the paperwork for the renewal of my OPT work permit.
